Hostal Hispano - Argentino Gran Via - Madrid

The location is amazing - it's right in the center of the city, and everything is just a short walk away. The hotel facilities are also fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed the cleanliness of my room.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

It's rather cosy, sutable for going sightseeing around the city. It's easy to find it, the staff is rather friendly. The room is nice, just enough space for having a rest.

The information given on the site is practically true except "There is free Wi-Fi in rooms". As a matter of fact the internet costs 4 Euro per hour, as it is said in the instruction, as well as the safe, the laundry, the ironing and mini bar is for extra fee. The fee was taken from my card beforehand.

I chose the Hostal for its location and the price of the rooms. I was very satisfied on both items. The staff was also very attentive. I would stay there again.

Expect small rooms.

This hotel had some great things going for it. Firstly, the room was incredibly cozy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Secondly, the location was unbeatable - we were right in the heart of the city and just a quick walk away from all the major attractions. Lastly, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

There were a few downsides to our stay. Firstly, the street noise was quite loud at night which made it difficult to sleep. Secondly, the entrance to the hotel was a bit difficult to find and navigate. Finally, while the room was cozy, it was a bit dated and could use some updating. Despite these issues, we still had a great time during our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

This hostal is perfectly situated in the centre. You can walk to everything. Being on the 6th floor, there is no noise. The staff is courteous. It is simple but clean, not old. My room was small but had all I needed and the price was fantastic.

Central location

Poor breakfast, one piece toast, one biscuit, one sponge cake, coffee for €11.!!!!!!!!!! Not value for money.

The hotel had some good things going for it. For one, the rooms were well decorated and the shower was refreshing. the location was very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and key city attractions. the proximity to great restaurants and cafes was also a highlight of the stay.

There were some negative aspects to the hotel as well. the walls were thin, which made it difficult to sleep with noise from other rooms.

I was travelling alone...so I was a little bit afraid of getting at the hotel late at night...Theres nobody at the reception..There was only one guy at the ground floor responsible for all the building (the hotel is located at the 6th floor) so he has to follow you till your room. i would recomend because of the price and location.

I have stayed in a regular room,which was ok. Then I extended my booking, and I was given a smaller and extremely noisy room. I could not sleep almost the entire night because of the water flowing and the neighbours. Be careful to avoid this room!

Staff kind and helpful, clean bathroom, comfy bed, great AC, perfect city location.

Don't have any issues at all.

They openly sell tickets for bullfighs, a thing I dislike and something hotels should not promote, for me a reason never to come back

This accommodation is located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy to explore all the main attractions on foot or via the nearby metro station. the decor inside the rooms is quite nice and seems to be well maintained. the staff is friendly and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process quite smooth.

The traffic noise outside is quite loud and can be heard inside the rooms, which can make getting a good night's sleep difficult.
